Cancellation Policy
The Deposit is required to confirm and guarantee your reservation, the remainder is due on arrival at the hostel.
Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations made without at least 72 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival time.
Please note that any cancellations must be notified directly to the hostel at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival time, otherwise the total of the first night accommodation will be charged to your credit card.
If you cancel any individual night of your reservation, then the deposit for that night will be not be refunded or transferred.
*Cancellations for New Year Package can be made before November, 30th with a 100% refund of the total amount. After that date the amount that has been already paid won´t be refund.
*Cancellations for Carnival Package can be made before December, 31st with a 100% refund of the total amount. After that date the amount that has been already paid won´t be refund.

Free Transfer
El Misti Hostel offers you a free pick up on your arrival to Rio de Janeiro from the airport or bus station to our hostel for free. This service is offered for free to our passengers with a minimum stay of 3 nights (or equivalent booking to R$100/US $55) and that have already confirmed the booking with one of our payment methods.
Please note that in case of delays in the air-flights, the passanger is responsible to inform to El Misti Hostel about the new arrival time.
In case the passanger has not informed to our staff about the delay, El Misti Hostel won´t be responsible for the transfer charge. The passanger will have to be responsible for the total amount of the transfer in.
This free transfer service is offered between 06.00 am to 11.00 pm.
The free transfer is offered for the New Year & Carnaval packages between 08.00 am to 08.00 pm.
In case you require a transfer outside this schedule, we offer you the possibility of booking it with us to a rate of R$ 55.-
